Liz Anderson is a native of Colchester, Connecticut and has lived in Colorado Springs, CO for the past 19 years. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, she then spent 30 years in the U.S. Air force as both an active duty member, attaining the rank of Colonel. Her assignments include Arizona, Alaska, Germany, Indiana, Texas, Alabama and Colorado. She also deployed to two locations in Pakistan in 2003 for 9 months, Iraq in 2005 for  4 months and Guantanamo Bay in 2008-2009  for 9 months. She retired from the military in 2009.

Liz has been an independent business owner since 1998. At that time she started her first business, a promotional products distributorship. Currently, she is the owner of Proforma Peak Marketing, a franchise specializing in assisting business and individuals marketing needs with promotional products, commercial print, e-commerce and total project management.

Liz is an active member of her community. She has served on several boards of directors including Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado for 11 years, the Peterson Air and Space Museum for 3 years, Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado for 7 years and Chairman of the Board for the Colorado Springs Military Affairs Council for 3 years. Presently, Liz is a member of the Broadmoor Rotary Club, several Chambers of Commerce and is an active member of the Holy Apostles Catholic Church.
