Donald Kaminsky, M.D., M.P.H., T.M.

Dr. Kaminsky has had 45 years of worldwide International health experience including long term assignments in Thailand, Brazil, Tunisia, Kenya, and Honduras. Some of the numerous professional positions he has held over the years include; Asst. Professor, Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine; Project Director of Services / Manpower for Project HOPE in Honduras; African Regional Consultant for Health Services & Manpower Planning with the U.S. Peace Corp and Internal  Medical Consultant for the USAF in Thailand.

Dr. Kaminsky has a B.SC. Degree from the University of Toledo in 1961; a Dr. of Medicine Degree from the University of Michigan in 1965; and a Master Of Public Health & Tropical Medicine Degree from Tulane University in 1971. Dr Kaminsky is Board Certified in Preventative Medicine.

Since 1990, Dr. Kaminsky has been deeply involved in the development of medical and educational programs concerning maternal & child health / family planning, primary health care, youth educational opportunities and women’s vocational training programs for families who make their living in the market places and city dumps of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Dr. Kaminsky is a member of the Rotary Club of Tegucigalpa and has worked extensively over the years with Rotary International exemplifying the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self”. Don and his wife Rina presently reside in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
